About Miss Richardson

Miss Richardson is delighted to be joining the Year 5 team and is looking forward to an exciting year of learning and new experiences with her class. She enjoys sharing her love of reading with children, with The BFG and Winnie the Pooh among her favourite books.

Outside of school, Miss Richardson enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going for walks, swimming and curling up with a good book. She has wonderful memories of visiting Florida, especially exploring the different theme parks. Her favourite foods are lasagne and steak, and she loves both summer and winter—whether it's enjoying sunny days outdoors or relaxing in cosy clothes while watching films.

A fun fact about Miss Richardson is that she had a poem published in a book when she was in primary school. She also loves cats and has a cat called Maisie.

At Ash Green, we value our curriculum and want to keep you informed about your child’s learning and important dates, events, and exciting activities to look forward to.

The Curriculum Newsletters are a great way for you to talk with your child about their learning and support them with extra activities at home. Don’t forget to check Class Dojo for homework rewards and incentives too!

Knowledge Organisers are another useful way to support your child's learning at home. Each half term, they provide an overview in each subject of what your child will be learning, including key facts, important vocabulary, significant people, dates, maps and other essential knowledge. They can help you to: 

• Talk about learning at home
• Revisit key information
• Build your child's confidence and long-term memory
• Provide conversation starters by asking things such as, "Can you tell me about something you've learned from your Knowledge Organiser today?"
